From due diligence to taxes years later
Legal and administrative support doesn't end the day the deed is signed — it starts much earlier and continues long after the keys change hands.
Before and during the purchase
- Verifying the legal status of the property — land registry extract (nota simple), checking for charges and mortgages
- Reviewing the preliminary contract and deposit terms
- Obtaining a NIE or NIF number and assistance opening a Spanish bank account
- Accompanying you at the signing of the notarial deed
After the purchase, and day to day
- Registering ownership in the land registry and cadastre
- Transferring utilities and registering with the owners' community
